ONLINE INTERVIEW AND TEST

Your performance will be evaluated by our team of admission specialists. Neither the entrance exam nor the tests can be retaken so we advise you to prepare properly for the interview. We’ll assess your level of English, and ask about your motivations, so think about why you want to study your chosen study program and look up a few things about Hungary as well.
The test is a Math or Math&Physics test, depending on the study program you chose. You should expect a normal upper-intermediate high school level test.
Don’t worry though. For most applicants, these are test are much scarier than they actually are. If your head is already in the tech game, it should be no problem for you!

Please note: there is no test for Master programs. Candidates of Master programs only need to pass the online interview.

CONDITIONAL ACCEPTANCE LETTER – YOU ARE ACCEPTED

Applicants who have fulfilled the admission requirements of the university and the program they have chosen will get an official conditional offer with the details of the program, payment and deadlines. Please note that possessing a conditional letter does not yet entitle you to submit a visa application to enter Hungary.

To turn your Conditional Offer letter to a Final Acceptence Letter, you need to pay the first year’s tuition fee and some minor fees as well (e.g. health insurance and housing).

FINAL ACCEPTANCE LETTER - TRANSFER THE TUITION FEE AND OTHER SERVICE FEES

Applicants are required to transfer the tuition fee of the first two semesters and some other minor charges to get Final Admission. Please note that we have restricted number of dormitory places so in case you need accommodation, let us know as soon as you can.

Also: please observe the bank details! Some fees must be paid to BIC, however, most of the fees must be transferred to the university directly.

START THE VISA PROCEDURE

After you have transferred the fees, the final acceptance letter will be issued and sent you online. Having received your acceptance letter, you can submit an application for a D-type visa (study visa) at the nearest Hungarian Embassy. Make sure to start the procedure in due time and be in constant communication with our admission team.

ARRIVE IN HUNGARY

With your visa in hand, you can start planning your journey and your life in Hungary.

IMPORTANT: you’ll have 30 days to turn your visa to a residence permit in Hungary. For this however, you’ll need to be officially enrolled to your chosen institution. So please DON’T arrive to Hungary much earlier than the enrollment date, as you can even lose your right to stay in the country for it. The most optimal is to arrive 1-2 weeks before the courses start.

Don’t worry, our team won’t leave you alone in these times either- we’ll make sure to help you every step of the way until the moment to officially enrol to the university.
