Popular destinations
Europe is a higher ed powerhouse- out of the 5 most popular higher education destinations in the World, 3 are located on the continent (Germany, the UK and the Netherlands). However, this doesn’t mean that Western Europe steals all the spotlight- many Eastern European countries are getting increasingly popular. If we look at Hungary, the document reports a 12,2% interest growth since last year for Bachelor’s programs, and a 17,5% growth when it comes to Master’s programs.
Popular disciplines
The most in-demand disciplines and programs continue to be Tech and Business. On the Bachelor’s level, Computer Science & IT has grown the most since last year, becoming the second most in-demand discipline after Business & Management. On the Master’s level, Hospitality grew the most, while general Business & Management keeps the first place and CS & IT is the third most in-demand Master’s discipline.
