Considering studying abroad in Hungary? You really should go for it, 40300 international students can’t be wrong!

This academic year 293,500 students are studying in higher education in Hungary, out of them 40300 are internationals. This means that some 13.7% of all university students are internationals. This number is even higher if we look only at the number of full-time students according to the Central Statistical Office (KSH).

The report states that there were 207,300 full-time students in higher education and the share of foreign students was 18.3%. Among full-time students, 129,000 were studying at Bachelor’s level, including 17,300 internationals. International Masters and PhD students are over 30% among students in Hungary. Master students numbered 21,700 with the share of internationals at 30% and out of the 9,400 full-time doctoral students nearly 32% were internationals.
