Refund Policy

After receiving your Conditional Acceptance Letter, you have some time to decide whether you want to accept the offer and start your studies in Hungary. If you decide to join, you’ll have to pay 2-semester tuition fee and some other minor fees (see above) to obtain your Final Acceptance Letter & be able to start the visa procedure.

Please note that the application fee and the visa assistance fee are non-refundable.

The tuition fee is refundable in case of the following events:

  • Program Cancellation: The full tuition fee paid must be refunded in case the Study Program is cancelled;
  • Visa Rejection: The College or University shall refund the tuition fee paid by the applicant after deducting 150 EUR as administration fee if the applicant attends the visa interview and submits all the necessary documents and the National Directorate-General for Aliens Policing (Immigration Office) still rejects their visa request. In this case the applicant is asked to provide Budapest International College with a copy of the rejection letter issued by the National Directorate-General for Aliens Policing.
